Helloooo you lovely lot! Happy Bank Holiday Weekend!! Gosh I know I say this EVERY time I write to you all, but I promise I will update you more on whats happening…
Today though it’s an intro into bespoke wedding stationery, my fave! I have honestly worked on some of the most amazing weddings recently, from cats to garden worms, you name it, I’ve painted it! Dreamy!
Your Save the Date or invitation is the window into your wedding, it’s the very first glimpse your guests get of what your special day will be like. There are so many ways I can capture this for you, colours, flowers, a drawing of your venue, a portrait of you, your pets, a link to your first date, the proposal, literally anything you want to include I can draw it.
Recently I worked with a couple who had chosen to keep their wedding venue a secret from their guests until the invitation arrived. My cute pop up tipis. YEY! I painted lots of boho, whimsical florals and foliage to adorn the invite, shades of cream and the softest pink with pops of rust. All elements that encapsulated the vibe for their day.
Bespoke doesn’t have to break the bank either, yes, granted it is a little more expensive than buying off the shelf invites, but I’m here to talk to you, and try to work within your budget. There are a lot of articles online about how much your wedding stationery might cost you, and the general consensus is about 3-5% of your wedding budget, that’s not too scary is it? And we can talk about it, start with the max amount of bits and bobs you might want to include and work backwards to meet your budget. I love to trawl my suppliers for bargain tassels and ribbons, and I will always to my best to try and get you everything you want on budget ;-)
SO if you’re planning your wedding and you’re thinking of going bespoke, head to the contact section and send me a menage. Lets chat!
Love forever
